So, despite all the associated controversy the 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit was run in its entirety with the only politically noteworthy event occurring when the Force India team was involved peripherally in a petrol-bomb attack while traveling between the hotel and the circuit. Lots of grinding going on at the rumor mill as to why Force India was not seen once on camera during qualifying, but I’m imagining that will remain purely in the realm of speculation for the time being.

A bit sad to see Vettel take another runaway win but it was really fun seeing Kimi trying to run him down. Two years out of the sport and he sails back in to be more relevant than some who were racing the whole time!
Looking forward to the next race as always. This has proven to be an interesting season so far, hoping for more great action as time goes on.
