Spoiler Alert!
The legendary Monte Carlo is the latest destination for the F1 circus. Situated on the French southern coast, The Principality of Monaco is a staggeringly beautiful place. A supremely popular luxury tourist destination year round, the ¾ of a square mile paradise also becomes alive with race fans this weekend all trying to catch a glimpse of the penultimate race to win in F1 pedigree.
Here is an onboard lap with Sebastian Vettel, so fast in such a small area.

The course is narrow at practically every section. It winds through the streets with dramatic elevation change and a high speed tunnel to enhance the thrill. Passing opportunities are few and far between and can frequently lead to contact and bad tempers. It doesn’t make for the best racing but has undoubtedly produced some entertaining moments and even entire races in its 70 year history.
This year saw a decently entertaining show and a record breaking 6th winner in as many races. Mark Webber runs away with the weekend after Schumacher forfeits pole for a 5 place grid penalty earned last round. Would definitely have been nice to see MSC have a run-away weekend at Monte Carlo after a lackluster return to the sport. TIme will tell if he will find victory once again.
Next round sees us in Canada at circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

They recently announced a subscription service that is practically a steal at roughly 1$ per month and removes all ads. They are an outstanding resource for F1 fans of any kind and I strongly recommend helping them out. Definitely worth the price of admission.
As if the stock horsepower wasn’t enough to melt significant rubber, a TT kit has been added here. The intake piping and TiAL BOVs leading to a nice chrome manifold make this really nice to look at!
This happened just last night. I really can’t think of another time in which something like this has occurred. A wreck following a restart in just a matter of yards.

Just a little throwback action from my first year following F1 closely. I have never looked back. The rivalries, the story lines going back decades, it was too much for me and I was pulled in forever.
