So, I don’t know anything about this car as it is out of my random pictres collection. All I can tell you is that it is done right. It doesn’t even really matter with the Viper if it’s stock under the hood, you’ve still got a boatload of go sitting in front of you. Love the paint and wheel color choice. A real winner, I bet it’s got super mean road presence.
Don’t have too many details about this car yet, but it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. I love it. Using the same naming convention as the ‘FXX’ Program, you might assume they share a similar nature (Ferrari keeps and maintains the car, and you can only drive it at Ferrari sponsored events)
From the Lamborghini Press Release
Lamborghini have announced the release of their new flagship model, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce. That’s a mouthful. Boasting a weight reduction of 220 pounds and a power output bumped up to 670HP, you can rest assured this thing is RIDICULOUSLY fast. With 5.1lbs per hp, it blasts to 60 in 3.2 seconds and powers onto a 212mph top speed. The first thing that jumps out to me is the engine cover. It looks almost exoskeletal, and I love it. I believe that Lamborghini is doing the right things when it comes to design. I might color-match the air ducts on the side skirts, but thats personal preference. Also of note is the front lip which is a bit of an evolution of the Reventon/560-4. Well done.
Jamie McMurray gets tagged in the left rear by Joey Logano, initiating him into an unannounced 180+mph drift around an ENTIRE corner. This man, whom you may now hail as your own personal god, manages to keep the drift for the entire corner, AND recovers with only a loss of a few positions. I wonder if he had to pit the next lap to change his jumpsuit.
So, I know this doesn’t really matter to anyone, but my personal car picture collection which was started in 2005 and took on its current organized form in 2008 (every picture follows a naming convention) has now reached 10,000 pictures. The 10,000th picture:
