Today I’d like to bring you the story of a rider who managed to do something some of us only wish we could do: take a tragic event and turn it into something positive that can be looked back on as a valuable experience that ultimately led to something better overall… We begin with “StrayTowel” […]
Made friends with Kraft on Flickr, he snaps some great photos. Give his page some love! Orange EVO is nice! […]
After a rather grey and gloomy winter, it seems that finally there are some signs that spring is in the air in South China. For an avid car spotter and photographer this brings with it what the Chinese might call a case of ‘double happiness’. From a petrol-heads point of view, it’s great to see more interesting cars on the roads as drivers take the opportunity to enjoy the cool, dry weather and from a photographers stand point, there’s an increased chance of getting some good early-morning light. With this in mind here are some photographs that I took at sunrise last weekend.

…you know the one. That Hennesey guy thinks he knows his stuff.
Well, he obviously does because it’s now the fastest 0-300kph car on the planet. (That’s 186mph for you Americans) Remember when the Veyron’s numbers blew your socks off? This thing does it 7 seconds quicker!
Guinness was on hand to officiate the two back-to-back runs, and here it is, staring down the runway into destiny:
A few more photos after the jump! […]
Found this short video of a lap at Le Mans in 2011 by driver Johnny Herbert in the legendary Mazda 787B.
Loved the pure engine sounds and various camera perspectives on the car and it got me thinking, I ought to do a little looking into the history of the 787B. First, enjoy the video:

Now, for a little background on the car. […]
This thing is ostentatious, has far too much going on with it visually, feels slap-dash and quickly put together, and doesn’t have any overall harmony to it… But! There is simply a certain je ne sas quoi to the thing. If you’ve got a million dollars desperate for a new home and yearn for the […]
Staff favorite site Arthomobiles found this rare Bentley at the Grand-Prix de Montreux, a somewhat-annual (last took place in 2006, according to Arthomobiles, and 2002 before that) show and race held in the southwest of Switzerland on the shores of lake Geneva. He managed to snap these shots of a Bentley Continental GTZ, one of […]

Special thanks to the always sharp-eyed chap behind the lens of Arthomobiles for this nice set of snaps. The MC12. Love it or hate it, it is legend in the supercar world. Plastered on the bedroom walls of young gearheads all over the world, this monster Maserati was homologated to signal Maserati’s return to GT-class racing. With a […]
Found on Minkara, this user has styled his car in self-described “USDM” style. That’s quite a path to follow: a Japanese car owned by a Japanese citizen, styling his car as he feels someone in the US might style their Japanese car. You’d need a map to successfully navigate that one! […]
